For the most part, players follow a unique story line leading them to different dungeons. Within this story line, players battle against different bosses and complete different quests. While playing the game, players also have the option to take on side quests if they would like and leave the original story line. However, they can jump back to it at any time.

One main feature of Torchlight is the town that serves as a “hub” for the player playing the game. In this town, players can buy and sell items to non player characters and even obtain the side quests that I mentioned above. Of course if you have played Torchlight you know  most all of this. Anyway, because the Torchlight game is so good and has become so popular, I have put together a great list of games like Torchlight that can be played for free online.

- League of Legends – This is more of a game where you battle with a team against other players within League of Legends. Still it has many similarities to Torchlight such as the graphics, the battle types and the amazing game play. It might not be exactly what you are looking for but if you give it a try I bet you will be hooked. Main game play involves teams of 3 vs 3 battling one another until they destroy the other base. - Runes of Magic – Runes of Magic is a massively multiplayer online role playing game with graphics and gameplay just like that of Torchlight. The great thing about this amazing game is that there are over 600 quests for players to take part in and complete. Players can take on these quests by themselves or with friends online if they would like. Most of these quests involve players exploring dungeons and battling evil monsters and others are simple tasks that need done around the land.  Runes of Magic has tons of great features to check out with one of the big ones being the multi-class system. This system allows players to choose up to three different classes for their characters so that the special moves and attacks never get old and stale. This our first choice of games like torchlight and is definitely a game you need to check out.

Throughout the game, players grow their village while also growing their warriors or army. When players think the time is right, they can send this army out and start taking over other tribes or villages. Tribal Wars was first released in Germany in 2003 and released internationally in 2006. It has sense blown up and become very popular. For that reason, I have found some amazing games that relate very closely to Tribal Wars and believe everyone should try them out. Check out the list below.

- The Settlers: Castle Empire - Castle Empire is a free to play online strategy game with no download required. The basis behind this game is simple; players take control of a small group of pioneers that have just found a completely uninhabited land. While establishing the village, players also need to secure resources and build specific buildings that they will need later down the road such as workshops.

Players also want to start building their army as soon as possible before other armies or looters find their village and attack it. - Grepolis - Grepolis is a massively multiplayer online 2D strategy game that is also completely browser based. This game is set in Ancient Greece and has the same gameplay that most online strategy games do; build a city and take over the world with your army.

Grepolis features three main resources that are the base of everything else in the game. These resources are Wood, Rock, and Silver. Each one of these require a separate building to produce and are all used for different things throughout the game. There are a ton of troop types within this game which include land and naval based troops as well as mythological troops or creatures. This game is very well put together and is definitely worth checking out.

So what is this game all about? Well, players take the role of an Assassin who is roaming the lands and stopping all

evil. You kill top ranked officers but you do it so that no body knows. You can scale buildings, find treasures and even complete mini tasks. Every single game in this series had something new and exciting to do which is why it has become my favorite video game series of all time.

If you have not ever tried the Assassin’s Creed game series, then you got to go check out it today. I encourage you to start from the first game and go through them all because the storyline really continues through each one. This is also one of the best storylines I have ever played. I really have nothing bad to say about any of the games. Usually I tell you if there are more than three games in any game series, then the developers and publishers have gone to far. Not in this case though. They keep the game unique with fresh content which makes them better then all other games. That is why you need to play the Assassin’s Creed games!

The multplayer of Gears of War 3 was the best of the three games in my opinion. I never really got into the first two games for the multiplayer modes but in this one, I was hooked from the beginning. Also, the new horde mode was genius

and my favorite part of the game as well. I know they got the game type off of the all so popular Call of Duty Zombies mode but it does have its own twist and is not easy one bit. It is challenging and that is one of the best things about it.

If you are reading this and you have not tried playing Gears of War 3, then I strongly encourage you to go pick it up and try it out. I usually have some bad things to say about a video game but I really don’t have much bad to say about this game. The campaign mode, the multiplayer mode and the horde mode are all great and never really get old! This is the best game in this series and if you do not believe that then you are sadly mistaken!

So why am I not that impressed and happy with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3? It has great graphics and very fast paced action packed gameplay but it lacks the new and improved game that I was expecting. Everything seems to be virtually exactly the same except for a new game mode where players kill an opponent and have to pick up there tags to receive the points for the kill. The mode was exciting for about the first week. Then it was back to the basics of all the Call of Duty games. Team Deathmatch or Domination. There are more game modes but those two are the main ones.

The one thing that really gets me about this game and is a continuous problem though, is the spawn points that the developers put into the game. Are you ever playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and notice that after your team kills your opponents they spawn virtually right behind you or even next to you? It is absolutely ridiculous and gets old really fast. It makes no sense to me why the developers do this. You can make an unbelievable game with amazing graphics and gameplay but cannot perfect something as simple as spawn points? I think some people need to be fired. It got to frustrating to me that I have stopped playing the game and will not buy another one when it comes out. Let’s face it, they are stretching this game series too far anyway just like every game series. After about the third one, it gets repetitive and nothing new can be brought to the table.

In my opinion, this game series needs to stop while they are ahead. They did try something different with the whole elite package thing but look how well that worked. The thing was down for the whole first month and they did nothing to make up for it. It was a money maker and it turned out to be pathetic. I know it may seem like I am ranting about this game. I never mentioned that I hated it. I actually enjoyed the game and what it had to offer, for a while. It just got real old real fast and the developers did nothing to fix it. The game is dead in the water!

A few of these maps are also from Halo 1 which is pretty cool. Hang Em High and Prisoner are two of them off the top of my head. One thing I do not like about Halo Anniversary is that it only features 5 maps total. You play these 5 maps over and over and if you do not play Big Team Battle you only play three of them over and over. That really sucks. Why did I invest money into this game if that is all that I get to play!?

I know they made a ton of money of this game and the more I play it the more I just think it was a way to make money because the games were dying a bit. They went to far with the Halo series and they are going to try to go even farther with Halo 4 coming out in the up coming months. I hope this game is a vast improvement from the last 3 games they have released because lets face it, these Halo games have become a joke.

With over 75 levels (3 per map) there is tons of fun to be had.  Also the best thing about the game is it’s ultimate customization abilities.

For example there are four different types of towers you can choose from.  However that doesn’t even come close to how much you can do.  Each of these towers has tons of upgrade paths you can take.  For example you can build a wizard tower that has the ability to shoot highly damaging purple rays or you could decide to have your wizard tower become a defensive tower by creating a tower which lets you build giant stone warriors.

Also there are tons of different enemies with over 20 kinds of enemies with various types of resistances against the specialty towers it takes a lot of strategy to beat the maps.

One of the coolest things that’s been added to the game is the new hero’s option.  This new facet of the game allows you to choose from six “super warriors” how can quickly bolster you teams effectiveness.  Again each of these super warriors has special attacks which range from creating a clone that fights along side your forces to a warrior can throw exploding mines around the map.

It’s a pretty in depth game so instead of reading some long review we think you should just go download the game for your new iPad 2 and have the best iPad game of may 2012!

Brew Potion Faster Cheat – Secret Glitch

This is a pretty simple cheat for helping you to brew potions much faster than the standard 80 minutes it takes for the normal use.  Basically this glitch works by tricking the game into thinking most of the 80 minutes have already passed.  You do this by clicking on the clock in the lower righthand corner of your computer screen.  Once the calendar and time window pops up click on Change date and time settings.

Once you are on that page you will be able to set you computers clock forward 70 minutes ( this is the amount of time we used during our testing.) This should then cause the  game to think 70 minutes has already passed so your potion should be virtual finished brewing!

Don’t expect this cheat to last for very long, as we are sure the Pottermore developers will fix this issue as soon as it’s brought to their attention.  But in the meantime it’s an easy way to get those potions finished quickly so you can level up!

Brew Potion Failing Tips – Speed up Earning  House Points

Alright this isn’t so much a pottermore cheat but rather a bad programming and implementation issue by the creators.  Basically when you are potion making  you can cheat the system by actually intentionally failing at making potions. As you probably know you get 5 house points for successfully brewing a potion, well since the last update you also can earn 1 house point just for attempting to create one.

Also it takes 80 minutes to brew a potion successfully, but you can mess up a potion in under a minute.  So if you do the math you can earn up to 80 house points by failing at making potions in the amount of time it takes to earn 5 house points by actually trying hard and doing it correctly. So by “trying” to make potions but failing you could make nearly 100 points in the same amount of time.

The only problem with this is the fact that you can burn through all of your ingredients pretty quickly, but if you concentrate on making the inexpensive potions you shouldn’t have any problems earning over 100 house points with the galleons you get at the start of the game.

Again we think the staff will fix this issue pretty quickly once it comes to their attention, so take advantage while you can and earn those house points!

The Current Chapters:

The way that the game works is very similar to the way a book is read. So basically you make your way through the chapters the same way you would levels in most games.  The best part is that the world of pottermore allows you to completely interact with the story in ways never before imagined by any type of media or game.

Essentially each chapter is broken up into what the game calls moments, these moments consist of different scenes and stories which you must work through to make your way onto the next one.  Below you will have the walk-through tutorials for each of the levels in the game.

Spells:

The way that spells are set up in pottermore is that they come from the spell books, pretty self explanatory. Currently the game is set-up with only 3 books however there will obviously be more as the game progresses. Each of these spell books include 7 different spells which do a variety of things. Below you will find information about all of these.
